It is with deep regret that we must cancel the Twilight Christmas parade scheduled for this Friday, December 5. The forecast predicts chilly temperatures and cold rain, which would make for a very uncomfortable and potentially unsafe evening for all participants and attendees. We understand how much everyone looks forward to this event, and we share in your disappointment. The indoor portion of our Holiday on Main celebration will continue as planned with the Community Tree being lit indoors at the Heritage Center at 7:00 p.m. followed by entertainment from the Fairmont Farmers Festival queens, Long Branch Songbirds, Alpha Elite Athletics, and Rowland-Norment Instrumental Chorus.
