Heritage Center Dedication Pictures

Fairmont-South Robeson Heritage Center
Grand opening - Friday, August 29, 2008

Commissioner Charles Townsend gives the invocation. Mayor Kemp welcomes everyone to the opening of the Heritage Center. The Fairmont-South Robeson Heritage Center. A large crowd of citizens attend the dedication of the Heritage Center. State Senator David Weinstein addresses the crowd. Mr. Mark Sorrells, Senior Vice-President of the Golden LEAF Foundation. Mr. Ronnie Nye, Heritage Center contractor. Mr. Tony McEwen from Congressman Mike McIntyre's office addressing the citizens. State Representative Garland Pierce addressing the citizens. The Festival queens introduce themselves. Town Manager Blake Proctor gives Mayor Charles Kemp the Certificate of Occupancy. Mayor Kemp gets ready to cut the ribbon. The Heritage Center is officially open! Citizens enjoy refreshments. Citizens enjoy refreshments before touring the building. The Festival queens pose on the stage of the Heritage Center.
