Water Rate Schedule

$27.60 - First 1,000 Gallons Water
$36.15 - First 1,000 Gallons Sewer
$25.50- Sanitation Charge per Household (1 roll out cart, limbs & leaves pickup)
$89.25 - Minimum Bill

STEP RATES for Additional Water and Sewer Usage:

  • 1,100 to 3,000 gallons:  Water $3.50 Sewer $4.25 
  • 3,100 to 5,000 gallons:  Water $3.75 Sewer $4.50
  • 5,100 to 7,000 gallons:   Water $4.00 Sewer $4.75
  • 7,100 to 10,000 gallons: Water $4.25 Sewer $5.00
  • 10,100 gallons and up:    Water $4.50 Sewer $5.25 

The cost of an additional trash roll out cart is $15.00.

Double Water and Sewer Rates for Out-of-Town Residents (Water $55.20, Sewer $72.30) 

Garbage and limbs and leaves pickups are billed on your water bill as one item.

Application Process - Collection Process - Please Read

An application has to be completed in its entirety with proof of identification and social security card.

Premises must be inspected for housing code violations prior to water connection. Inspection is generated by payment of deposit.

Deposit fees: homeowners—$150.00; tenants—$200.00.

Businesses require a fire inspection ($60.00 and up) before operation can begin.

Water meters are read on the 12th of each month.

Bills are mailed before the 25th of each month and are due by the 10th of the following month.

Tap Fees: Water—$1,250.00—Sewer $1,250.00 plus cost for distance over 35 feet.

Customers will be required to reimburse the town for any expenses incurred for meter tampering.

Water Deposit Refund Policy

The water department requires seven (7) days' notice on intent to disconnect.

This request can be verbal or written.
